The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Josh Maniscalco to the taxi squad, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

The 22-year old Maniscalco is playing his first professional season after signing with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent on August 21, 2020. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defenseman has suited up for two games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this year.
Prior to turning pro, the Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania native appeared in 71 collegiate games with the Arizona State Sun Devils over the course of two seasons, where he tallied 52 points (15G-37A). Despite only playing two seasons with the Sun Devils, his 52 points are sixth-most in team history.
