Nylander, 25, picked up an assist in his Pittsburgh debut on Tuesday night against Columbus. This season with WBS, he's recorded a career-high 25 goals, 25 assists, 50 points and is plus-2 through 54 games. His 50 points rank first on WBS and his 25 goals rank first on the team and fifth in the AHL.
The 6-foot-1, 192-pound forward has 85 games of NHL experience under his belt, recording 13 goals, 20 assists and 33 points with Pittsburgh, the Chicago Blackhawks and Buffalo Sabres. His best NHL season came in 2019-20 with Chicago when he recorded career highs across the board with 10 goals, 16 assists and 26 points in 65 games played.
In 286 career AHL games, split between the Rochester Americans, Rockford IceHogs and WBS, Nylander has tallied 77 goals, 101 assists and 178 points.
