MULTI-GOAL MAN ADVANTAGE - Both of the Rangers' goals came on the power play, their 15th and 16th of the postseason. Their 16 goals on the man advantage rank second in franchise history (22 in 1994) for a single playoff year. New York has scored on the man advantage in seven of its last eight games (10 PPGs). The Blueshirts scored two power play goals in a game for the fourth time in these playoffs (Game 6-7 vs. CAR, Game 6 vs. PIT).

  • Adam Fox notched a point in an eighth consecutive game, becoming the fifth defenseman in the past 30 years to record an eight-game point streak in the playoffs, joining Miro Heiskanen (8 in 2020), Victor Hedman (8 in 2018), Larry Murphy (9 in 1995 & 8 in 1992) and Brian Leetch (9 in 1994 & 8 in 1992). With 23 points, Fox has recorded the most points by a defenseman in NHL history through 20 career playoff games, surpassing Brian Leetch (22 PTS in 20 GP). Since 1995, Fox's 23 points are the third most by an NHL defenseman in a playoff year.
    - Chris Kreiderscored his 10th goal of the playoffs and 34th career playoff goal, tying Rod Gilbert for the most in franchise history. Kreider's goal was his 12th career power-play goal in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, tying Brian Leetch for the second most in Rangers history, behind only Adam Graves (13). His goal was his 62nd goal of the season (regular season and postseason combined), tied with Graves (1993-94) for the most in franchise history. Kreider has accumulated points in five-straight contests (4G-2A) and 15 points (10G-5A) in these playoffs.
    - Mika Zibanejad, along with Kreider, became the fifth and sixth players in Rangers history to score double-digit goals in a playoff year, joining Mark Messier (12 G in 1994), Brian Leetch (11 G in 1994), Wayne Gretzky (10 G in 1997) and Adam Graves (10 G in 1994). Zibanejad's goal, that opened the scoring for the Rangers was his sixth power play tally, tying Adam Graves (6 in 1996) for the most in a single playoff year. Zibanejad, along with Adam Fox, extended his point scoring streak to eight games, the longest by a Ranger since Wayne Gretzky in 1997 (9 GP). This afternoon marked Zibanejad's seventh multi-point game of the postseason. Zibanejad went 15-for-24 (63%) in the faceoff circle, the second highest percentage for him in these playoffs (Game 7 vs. PIT - 72%).
    - Artemi Panarincollected his third multi-point game of the playoffs (2A), giving him points in five of his last six games (2G-5A) and in seven of his last eight contests (2G-6A). In the regular season and playoffs combined, Panarin has 111 points, the ninth most in a single season by a Ranger.
    - K'Andre Millerand Jacob Trouba tied for the team-high in hits with six each.
