With the win, the Rangers have notched 96 points for the 14th time in team history, first since 2016-17, and 45 wins for the 11th time in franchise history. It is the fourth time in team history that New York has had 45 or more wins through 71 games (2021-22, 2014-15, 1972-73, 1971-72) and fifth time it has 96 or more points through 71 games (2021-22, 2014-15, 1972-73, 1971-72, 1970-71). The Blueshirts' 37 regulation wins and 96 points both rank fourth in the NHL.
ROAD WARRIORS - Tonight was the Rangers' 38th road game of the season, the most in the NHL. New York has now won three-straight road contests and six of its last seven on the road dating back to Mar. 12. The Blueshirts' winning streak is their fourth of the season consisting of three or more wins.
NO QUIT IN NY - For the 25th time this season, the Rangers made a comeback to earn a victory. New York is one of 19 teams in NHL history to have 25 or more comeback wins in a season, most recently the 2018-19 Tampa Lightning reached the feat (29).
POWERED UP - The Rangers scored two power play goals, their 10th multi-power play goal game of the year and first since March 10 at St. Louis. The Blueshirts have scored a power play goal in three of their last five games, nine of their last 14 games (11G) and 11 of their last 18 games (13G). New York's 26.8 power play percentage ranks second in the league. Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad have combined to scored 38 power play goals (Kreider - 25, Zibanejad - 13), the second most combined power play goals between two Rangers players in a single season (Jagr, Prucha - 40 - 2005-06).

  • Chris Kreiderscored his 25th power play goal of the season, setting the franchise record for the most PPG's in a season. Kreider's goal stood up as the game-winning goal, his franchise record setting 10th of the season. Kreider is the first NHL skater since Alex Ovechkin in 2014-15 to reach the 25 PPG mark and only the fifth since 2000-01 (Chris Kreider - 25 - 2021-22, Alex Ovechkin - 25 - 2014-15, Teemu Selanne - 25 - 2006-07, Todd Bertuzzi - 25 - 2002-03, Ilya Kovalchuk - 27 - 2005-06). It marks the 27th occasion in league history where a player has tallied both 47 goals and 25 power play goals in a season. Kreider is the only player in NHL history to record 47 goals, 25 power play goals, three shorthanded goals and 10 game winning goals in the same season. Kreider's 47 goals tie Mark Messier (1995-96) for the sixth most single-season goals in Rangers history. Kreider also netted his 83rd career power-play goal and surpassed Phil Esposito and Jean Ratelle (both w/ 82) for the fifth most in franchise history - a mark he shares with Vic Hadfield (83).
    - Ryan Strome made his return to the lineup after missing four games and scored a goal, his 16th of the season. Strome has points in three of his last four games (2G-1A) and seven points (4G-3A) in his last 11 contests.
    - Artemi Panarin notched his 64th and 65th assists of the season, establishing a career-high in assists. Panarin's assist total is tied for the 11th most in a single season in team history. Panarin has points in seven of his last eight games (3G-9A) and has 22 points (4G-18A) in his last 14 games. Tonight was Panarin's 25th multi-point game of the year, tied for the sixth most in the NHL. His 65 assists rank tied for second among NHL skaters.
    - Adam Fox tallied an assist on Kreider's goal, giving him points in three of his last five games (3A). Fox's helper was his 57th of the season, tied for the seventh most in a single season by a Rangers defenseman. Fox's assist total is the second most among league defenseman and his 67 points rank third among NHL d-men.
    - Alexandar Georgiev extended his win streak in starts to five, establishing a career-long streak. His previous long streak was from Oct. 23-Nov. 21, 2018 (4 GP).
    - Justin Braunscored his first goal as a Ranger, in his third game, becoming the 25th different goal scorer for New York this season. Braun's goal gives New York 37 goals by defensemen this season, tied for the fifth most in the NHL.
    - Andrew Coppassisted on Braun's goal, has tallied a point in eight of his last nine games (3G-9A) and seven of his last eight contests (3G-6A) with New York.
    - Braden Schneider collected his ninth point of his season (2G-7A) and third point (1G-2A) in his last four games.
