IT'S A POWER PLAY GOAL - The Rangers scored one power play goal and have notched a power play goal in six of their last seven games (7G). New York 26.7 power play percentage ranks second in the NHL. Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider have combined for 34 power play goals (Zibanejad - 13, Kreider - 22), tied for the fourth most combined power-play goals between two Rangers players in a single season.

  • Mika Zibanejad recorded his 18th multi-point game of the season (1G-1A), the second most on New York. Zibanejad has goals in four of his last six games, six of his last 10 games and has points in five of his last six contests (4G-3A). Zibanejad scored the opening goal in a game for the 10th time this season, which is tied with Dylan Larkin for the most among all players. Only four Rangers players have recorded more in a single season: Adam Graves (15 in 1993-94), Andy Bathgate (12 in 1958-59), Jaromir Jagr (11 in 2005-06) and Jean Ratelle (11 in 1971-72). Zibanejad is one point from 500 in his career.
    - Chris Kreider scored his 42nd goal of the season, the second most in the NHL, and his league-leading 22nd power play goal of the year. Kreider also assisted on Zibanejad's goal, giving him his 17th multi-point game of the season. Kreider has four goals in his last gives and has goals in seven of his last 11 games (8G). Kreider's 42 goals are tied for the 11th most in a single season in franchise and his 22 power play goals are tied for the third most in team history in a single season. Kreider is the fourth Ranger in history to have 22+ PPG's and 42+ goals.
    - Artemi Panarin recorded his 57th assist of the season and 10th point (1G-9A) in his last six games. Panarin's 57 assists are the third most in his career and rank third in the NHL.
    - Adam Fox tied Jacob Trouba for the most goals among Rangers defensemen with his 10th of the season, his first career 10-goal season. With his multi-point game, Fox has points in five of his last seven games (3G-4A) and points in nine of his last 12 contests (2G-12A). Fox's 64 points this year are the third most among league defensemen and his 54 assists are the second most among NHL d-men.
    - Alexis Lafrenière extended his point streak to four games (4A), tying the longest point streak of his career (Feb. 26-Mar. 4, 2021). Lafrenière surpassed his point total from last year with his 22nd of the season. His nine assists are tied for his 2020-21 mark.
    - Ryan Strome scored his 15th goal of the season, surpassing his total from last season. Strome has recorded points in four of his last eight games and six of his last 12 contests.
    - Andrew Copp, Tyler Motte, and Justin Braun made their Rangers debuts after being acquired by the team on Monday. Copp notched his first two points with the Rangers, giving him five points in his last two games and nine multi-point games this season.
    - Ryan Lindgren earned his eighth assist of the year and first point since March 4 against New Jersey.
