WIN-TER- The Rangers finished their first 40 games of the season with a 26-10-4 record for 56 points, tied for the second-most wins and the third-most points in the NHL. The Blueshirts moved past the Carolina Hurricanes for first place in the Metropolitan Division. The Blueshirts have won seven of their last nine games and earned a point in nine of their last 12 games (8-3-1).
THE SIX - The Rangers matched their season-high goal output with their six goals, matching the previous mark set on December 7 at Chicago.
COMEBACK KINGS - The Rangers found themselves down 3-1 after the first period and exploded for five-straight goals to earn a 6-3 victory. It marks the 12th comeback win of the season for New York, tied for the fourth-most in the league.
HOMECOMING - In their first game at MSG since January 3, the Blueshirts earned a point for a fourth-straight home game (3-0-1). Since October 29, New York is 11-2-1 at home.
BEASTING THE EAST - New York improved to 11-2-0 against Atlantic Division opponents (5-0-0 at home) and 17-3-0 against Eastern Conference opponents.
THIRD PERIOD PROWESS - The Blueshirts scored three goals in the third period, the fifth time this season they've compiled three goals in a third period. The Rangers' 49 third period goals this season are tied for the fourth-most in the NHL.
THE TEAM UP NORTH - The Rangers finished the season-series with Toronto with wins in two out of three matchups. New York has won four of its last five games against the Maple Leafs and have wins in six of its last eight contests against them. The Rangers have won three of their last four home games against the Maple Leafs.

  • Ryan Reaves scored his first two goals with the Rangers, including his 50th career goal on the first one. It was Reaves' second-career multi-goal game and first since April 25, 2013 against Calgary when he was in St. Louis. It also marks Reaves' fifth career multi-point game and third of the season.
    - Adam Fox notched two goals and an assist, bringing him to 42 points (7G-35A) on the season. It marks Fox's seventh career three-point game (first since Oct. 29, 2021) and first career multi-goal game. Fox is the first Rangers defenseman since Brian Leetch in 2000-01 to reach the 40-point mark in 40 games played or fewer. Fox became the third different defenseman in franchise history with 35 or more assists through 40 games played in a season, joining Brian Leetch and Sergei Zubov. Fox's 35 assists are tied with Nazem Kadri for the second-most most in the NHL and leads all defensemen. His 42 points are the second most among league defensemen behind Victor Hedman's 43 points. Tonight was Fox's 12th multi-point game of the season, the most among NHL defensemen.
    - Artemi Panarin notched a multi-point game (2A) in a second-straight game and has recorded points in four of his last six games (1G-6A). Panarin has points in 11 of his last 16 games (6G-15A) and has 17 points (4G-13A) in his last 13 games. Tonight was Panarin's 12th multi-point game of the season and since 2019-20 has registered 59 multi-point games, tied for third-most in the NHL in that span.
    - Chris Kreider tied Auston Matthews for the third-most goals in the NHL with his 25th tally of the season. Kreider is the first Ranger with 25 or more goals through 40 games played in a season since Rick Nash in 2014-15. Kreider has points in six of his last eight games (6G-3A) and seven of his last 10 games (7G-3A). He has six goals in his last seven games. Kreider is three goals away from tying his career-high of 28 goals.
    - Mika Zibanejad extended his season-long point streak to six games with two assists. It is his ninth-career point streak of six or more games and his first since Apr. 9-18, 2021 (6 GP). In his last 12 games, Zibanejad has nine goals and seven assists for 16 points and has points in seven of his last eight games (6G-4A).
    - Igor Shesterkin earned a win in a fifth straight start and has won nine of his last 10 games. Shesterkin's 18 wins are the seventh-most in the NHL while his .938 save percentage is the best in the league. Shesterkin improved to 8-1-1 in 10 home appearances, becoming the first Rangers goaltender with eight or more wins through 10 home appearances in a season since Henrik Lundqvist in 2007-08.
    - Ryan Strome earned a point for a third-straight game (1G-2A) with his ninth goal of the season. Strome has four goals and eight assists for 12 points in his last 13 games dating back to January 14.
    - Ryan Lindgren earned his fourth assist of the season and has recorded three points in his last five games (2G-1A).
    - Jacob Trouba tallied his fourth multi-point game of the season and his first multi-assist game of the season. Trouba has six goals and 11 assists for 17 points this season.
    - K'Andre Miller found the scoresheet with an assist, his first point since Dec. 31 at Tampa Bay. Miller has two goals and five assists for seven points in 40 games this year.
