- Igor Shesterkin stopped 20 of 21 shots to earn the win. He became the sixth different goaltender in NHL history to allow two or fewer goals in 10 consecutive home playoff starts and first since Martin Brodeur (14 GS from Game 3 of 2002 CQF – Game 2 of 2003 SCF).
- Barclay Goodrow (2A) and Jimmy Vesey (1G-1A) notched multi-point games. It was Goodrow’s second multi-point playoff game (Aug. 17, 2020 vs. CBJ) and Vesey’s second as well (May 5, 2017 at OTT).
- Matt Rempe opened the scoring for the Blueshirts. He became the first Rangers player
