  • WHAT A LINE - The Chris Kreider-Mika Zibanejad-Jimmy Vesey line tallied five points (two goals, three assists) in today's game and has registered 11 points (four goals, seven assists) over the last two games.
  • GOALS GALORE -The Rangers tallied five goals in today's game, including three goals in the third period. The Blueshirts have recorded at least three goals in six of the last eight games, in 13 of the last 18 games, and in 14 of the last 20 games. Including team goals awarded for a shootout win, New York has registered three or more goals in 23 of the last 35 games and in 39 of 62 games this season. The Rangers have tallied five or more goals in each of the last two games and in four of the last six games. In addition, the Blueshirts tied a single-period season-high by recording three goals in the third period.
  • POWER RANGERS -The Rangers were 1-for-4 (7:07) on the power play in today's game.   • Brady Skjeiregistered two goals, including the game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation, led the Rangers with five shots on goal, tied for the team-high with two blocked shots, and posted a plus-one rating in 21:11 of ice time. He was selected as the game's Third Star. Skjei posted a multi-goal game for the first time in his NHL career. In addition, he has tallied a goal in each of the last two games, and he has recorded a goal in two consecutive games for the first time in his NHL career. He has recorded six goals this season, which is a new career-high (he previous career-high was five in 2016-17). Skjei leads Rangers defensemen in goals in 2018-19.
  • Jimmy Veseyrecorded two points (one goal, one assist) and registered two shots on goal in 21:35 of ice time. He has posted a multi-point game in each of the last two games (two goals, two assists); he has posted a multi-point game in two consecutive contests for the first time in his NHL career. In addition, he posted a multi-point game for the 13th time in his NHL career. He added to his career-highs in assists (17) and points (32) this season, and 28 of his 32 points have either been a goal or the primary assist on a goal. Vesey ranks third on the Rangers in goals this season (15). He has logged at least 20:00 of ice time in each of the last two games.
  • Mika Zibanejadrecorded two assists, led all skaters with 16 faceoff wins (16-for-30; 53.3%), and registered two shots on goal in 23:47 of ice time. He tallied his team-leading 36th assist and 62nd point of the 2018-19 season, adding to his career-high in each category. He registered his 297th career NHL point in today's contest (he has recorded 146 points in 190 games as a member of the Rangers). Zibanejad has recorded 78 points (36 goals, 42 assists) in 80 games he has played since Feb. 28, 2018, and he leads the Rangers in goals, assists, and points over the span. Zibanejad has tallied a point in nine of the last 13 games, and he has recorded 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) over the span. He is the first Rangers center who has registered at least 26 goals and 62 points through the team's first 62 games of a season since Mark Messier in 1996-97.
  • Chris Kreidertallied the first goal of the game 21 seconds into the contest and recorded three shots on goal in 21:29 of ice time. Kreider has registered a goal in each of the last two games, and he is tied for the team lead in goals this season (26 - tied with Zibanejad). He has tallied seven points (two goals, five assists) in the last eight games, 10 points (four goals, six assists) in the last 13 games, and 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in the last 18 contests. Kreider is two goals away from tying his career-high (28 - 2016-17). He leads the Rangers in even strength goals (19) and ranks second on the team in points (47) this season. He has established career-highs in assists (18) and points (22) this season; he leads Rangers defensemen in points and is tied for first among Rangers defensemen in assists.
  • Neal Pionktallied a power play assist and posted a plus-one rating while skating in a team-high 24:11 of ice time. He leads Rangers defensemen in power play assists (11) and power play points (13) this season; in addition, he is tied for the team lead in power play assists and ranks third among all Rangers in power play points. Thus far this season, 16 of Pionk's 21 points have either been a goal or the primary assist on a goal.
  • Kevin Shattenkirkrecorded an assist, registered two shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating in 19:00 of ice time. He has tallied six assists/points in the last seven games, and he is tied for first among Rangers defensemen in assists this season (18).
  • Connor Brickleytallied an assist, registered three shots on goal, was credited with two hits, and posted a plus-one rating. He has recorded a point in three of six games with the Rangers (one goal, two assists).

  • Filip Chytil* skated in his 60th game of the 2018-19 season today. Chytil is one of five teenagers in Rangers history who have skated in at least 60 games in one season (Mike Allison - 1980-81; Troy Mallette - 1989-90; Manny Malhotra - 1998-99; Michael Del Zotto - 2009-10).
