LAST GARDEN PARTY OF 2023 - The Rangers returned from the holiday break to win their final regular season home game of 2023, their league-high tying 27th of the calendar year. The Blueshirts have won five of their last six games and nine of their last 13 games. Against Metropolitan Division teams this season, New York improved to 6-2-0.

IT’S A POWER PLAY GOAL (AGAIN) - For an eighth-straight game, New York notched a goal on the power play, their longest such streak since Oct. 5-22, 2009 (8 GP). The Rangers have power play goals in 13 of their last 15 games and in 27 of 33 games this season. The team’s 33 power play goals this year are the second most in the NHL.

NO QUIT IN NY - The Rangers scored four consecutive goals after trailing 1-0 to earn their 12th comeback win of the year, tied for the most in the NHL with Dallas.

  • Mika Zibanejad recorded two assists in his 800th career NHL game tonight, extending his point streak to eight games (7G-8A) and giving him points in 16 of his last 17 contests (11G-14A). His 281 goals are the fifth-most by a Swedish-born player through 800 games behind only Mats Sundin (340), Daniel Alfredsson (306), Markus Naslund (297) and Henrik Zetterberg (289).
  • Artemi Panarin recorded his 15th multi-point (1G-1A) game of the season, tying him for the third most in the NHL. Panarin has points in seven of his last eight games (3G-6A) and points in 12 of his last 15 contests (9G-11A). His 19 goals are tied for the fifth most in the NHL while his 46 points are fourth most in the league.
  • K’Andre Miller scored twice and recorded an assist for his second career multi-goal game (Mar. 19, 2023 vs. NSH) and third career three-point game (Mar. 19, 2023 vs. NSH, Feb. 8, 2023 vs. VAN). Rangers defensemen collected three goals in the win, bringing their season total to 20 - the sixth most in the NHL.
  • Vincent Trocheck tallied an assist to give him four points in his last five games (2G-2A) and seven points in his last eight games (2G-5A). Trocheck is one of four players in the NHL to have both 29 or more points and 45 or more hits. Others: J.T. Miller, Rasmus Dahlin, and Filip Forsberg.
  • Igor Shesterkin earned his fourth-straight victory and has allowed two or fewer goals in three of those four contests.
  • Chris Kreider surpassed Adam Graves for the 10th most points in franchise history with 508. Kreider has nine points (3G-6A) in his last seven games and 24 points in his last 26 games (12G-12A).
  • Blake Wheeler extended his point streak to four games and has eight points (3G-5A) in his past seven contests.
