Preview: Rangers Bring Win Streak Home to Face Jets at Garden

The Rangers were victorious in their tilt with the Jets in Winnipeg on Feb. 11. Jimmy Vesey scored the game-winner in a 3-1 victory for the visitors, a game in which Lundqvist finished with 37 saves.
The Jets enter play in occupying the second spot in the Central Division, six points behind Nashville and six points ahead of Minnesota. They come in on a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 in their last 10 games.
Blake Wheeler leads the team with 74 points, including 56 assists, followed by Patrik Laine's 58 points in 65 games. Center Mark Scheifele is having a strong campaign as well with 51 points in 49 games. All told, the Jets have nine players with 30 or more points, including five with five with at least 40.
Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is 34-10-8 with a 2.40 GAA and a .922 SV% and six shutouts, numbers that earned him a spot in this year's All-Star Game.

Players to Watch

Zibanejad has goals in two of his last three games and three points total during that stretch. He has a goal and five assists in his last nine games against the Jets.
Laine comes in riding an eight-game point streak, with all but one being a multi-point game. He's coming in with back-to-back multi-goal games, and has 10 goals during his point streak.
