New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Tim Gettinger on a one-year contract extension.
Gettinger, 24, played much of his 2021-22 season with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL), serving as an alternate captain, notching 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points and a plus-nine rating in 45 games. On Hartford last season, Gettinger ranked first in plus/minus, seventh in assists, tied for seventh in goals, and eighth in points. In addition, he skated in a career-high eight games for the Rangers in 2021-22, recording three shots.
