Marawill work as part of the player development staff, working with Rangers prospects on and off the ice. He joins the Rangers organization after two seasons coaching the Boston Pride of the Premier Hockey Federation. In addition, he has served as the assistant coach of the USA National Women's Team since 2016 where in in 2018, he helped guide Team USA to an Olympic Gold Medal. A seventh overall pick in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, Mara played in 734 NHL games and produced 253 points with a total of six franchises. From 2006-2009, Mara skated in 156 games for the Blueshirts, collecting eight goals and 35 assists for 43 points.
