Buchnevich

New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has assigned forward Pavel Buchnevich to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Buchnevich has skated in 26 games with the Rangers this season, registering six goals and nine assists for 15 points, along with a plus-four rating and 13 penalty minutes. He recorded his first career NHL assist/point while making his NHL debut on Oct. 13 against the NY Islanders, and he registered his first career NHL goal on Nov. 5 at Boston.
The 6-2, 193-pounder has also skated in three games with the Wolf Pack in 2016-17, recording two points (one goal, one assist) and a plus-one rating. He tallied his first career AHL goal/point while making his AHL debut on Jan. 6 vs. Lehigh Valley.
