• WORKING OVERTIME - The Rangers have earned at least one win in overtime in six of their last 10 playoff series, dating back to the Eastern Conference Semifinals against Boston in 2013. The Blueshirts have played at least two overtime games in 10 of their last 15 playoff series, dating back to the start of the 2011 Playoffs.
• WINNING HAB-IT - New York has won 11 of its last 15 playoff games against Montreal, dating back to Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals in 1996. • Mika Zibanejadtallied two points (one goal, one assist), including the game-winning goal in overtime, recorded three shots on goal, was credited with four blocked shots, registered four hits, and posted a plus-two rating. Zibanejad registered his first career NHL playoff overtime goal, as well as his first NHL playoff game-winning goal, in tonight's contest. He is tied for the team lead in assists (two) and points (three) in the playoffs this year. In addition, Zibanejad has recorded nine points (two goals, seven assists) in nine career playoff games on the road against Montreal.
• Henrik Lundqvist made 34 saves, and stopped all 20 shots he faced from the start of the second period through the end of the contest, to earn his 58th career NHL playoff win in tonight's contest. Lundqvist leads all active NHL goaltenders in career playoff appearances (121) and career playoff wins (58). In the Rangers' 28 playoff wins since the start of the 2014 Playoffs, Lundqvist has posted a 1.28 GAA, a .957 SV%, and 2 SO.
• Jesper Fast notched a shorthanded goal, was credited with four hits, registered three shots on goal, recorded two takeaways, and posted a plus-one rating. Fast is tied for the team lead in goals (two), points (three), and plus/minus rating (plus-four) in the 2017 Playoffs. He has recorded a goal/point in each of the last two games, and he has tallied four points (two goals, two assists) in his last six playoff contests. Fast's goal was the first shorthanded goal/point of his NHL career (regular season or playoffs).

Blueshirt Breakdown

• Brady Skjeitallied a goal, registered three shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating. He is the first Rangers defenseman who has registered at least two playoff goals in his rookie year since Brian Leetch in 1989 (three). Skjei is tied for the team lead in goals in the playoffs this year (two), and as of the conclusion of tonight's game, he is also tied for first among NHL defensemen in goals in the 2017 Playoffs.
• Chris Kreider tallied an assist on the game-winning goal in overtime and posted a plus-one rating. Kreider skated in his 70th career playoff game with the Rangers in tonight's contest, tying Mark Messier and Jeff Beukeboom for 11th place on the Rangers' all-time playoff games played list.
• Rick Nash recorded an assist, led all skaters with eight shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating in the contest. • Jimmy Vesey notched an assist, led all skaters with four takeaways, recorded two shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating. Vesey is tied for the team lead in assists in the playoffs this year (two).
