- WINNING WAYS - The Rangers' 29 wins in 2016-17 are tied for the fourth-most the team has earned through the first 46 games of one season in franchise history. The Blueshirts have earned at least 29 wins through the first 46 games of a season six times in franchise history, and the only seasons in which the Rangers earned more than 29 wins through the first 46 contests were 1971-72 (31), 1993-94 (31), and 2011-12 (30).
- BOUNCE BACK - Since Dec. 22, 2015, the Rangers have posted a 30-7-1 record in the game following a loss (regulation or overtime/shootout). New York has posted a 13-3-1 record in games following a loss in 2016-17.

- Brady Skjeiregistered two points (one goal, one assist) and posted a plus-three rating in 15:29 of ice time. He has posted a multi-point game for the second time in his NHL career. Skjei ranks third among NHL rookie defensemen in points this season (19; two goals, 17 assists).
- Michael Grabner tallied two goals, including a shorthanded goal, drew two penalties, tied for the game-high with three takeaways, registered five shots on goal, and posted a plus-three rating. Over the last 10 seasons (since 2007-08), Grabner is one of three Rangers who have tallied at least 20 goals through the team's first 46 games of a season (Marian Gaborik - 2009-10 and 2011-12; Rick Nash - 2014-15). In addition, Grabner is one of four Rangers who have registered at least 20 even strength goals within the team's first 46 games of a season since 1991-92 (Sergei Nemchinov - 1991-92; Mike Gartner - 1992-93; Rick Nash - 2014-15). Grabner leads the NHL in even strength goals this season (20). He has notched nine points (seven goals, two assists) in the last six games. Grabner has recorded all of his last 12 points, as well as 20 of his last 21 points, in games on the road, and he leads the NHL in plus/minus rating on the road this season (plus-20).
- Kevin Hayesnotched two assists, including a shorthanded assist, recorded six shots on goal, and posted a plus-two rating. He has registered four assists/points over the last three games, and he has tallied 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) in the last 10 games. Hayes has recorded a point in each of the Rangers' last six road games, registering 11 points (two goals, nine assists) over the span. He is the Rangers' all-time leader in appearances (718), wins (393), and saves (18,607).
