Goaltender Brandon Halversonsecured his first career American Hockey League Win Wednesday night with the Wolf Pack, turning aside 25 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over Springfield. Halverson stopped all three shooters he faced in the shootout.
Nicklas Jensen scored twice to bring his season total to six, while Marek Hrivik, Justin Fontaineand Halverson himself picked up assists. Steven Fogartyscored the only goal in the shootout.

Forward Tim Gettingernotched a hat trick for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in its 5-3 win over Saginaw Wednesday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League. The 2016 fifth-round pick has eight goals and four assists for 12 points in 19 games this season. It was his first career hat trick.

Over in the Western Hockey League, 2016 seventh-round selection Ty Ronningpicked up a pair of assists for Vancouver in its 5-3 win over Prince Albert. Ronning has seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 19 games and is a plus-7. He has two multi-point games in his last four contests.
