New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has recalled defenseman Ryan Lindgren from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Lindgren, 21, has skated in 63 AHL games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering 12 assists and 92 penalty minutes. He is tied for 10th among AHL defensemen in penalty minutes in 2018-19, and he is also tied for first among all AHL rookies in penalty minutes this season. In addition, Lindgren ranks sixth among AHL defensemen who are in their U21 season or younger in games played in 2018-19.

The 6-0, 201-pounder has also skated in three NHL games with the Rangers this season, recording six penalty minutes. Lindgren made his NHL/Rangers debut on Jan. 15 vs. Carolina.
