Throughout the NHL pause, the league is inviting players to respond to fans' questions in a live Q&A session.
On Tuesday, Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi was the special guest on the NHL's Twitter account.
Q: #AskTyler What was that Calder Cup run in '17 like for you and the team? - @GamerHeyits
Bertuzzi: "For me, the Calder Cup run was probably my favorite hockey memory. We had a great group of guys, a great hockey team. It was a lot of fun and I'll definitely never forget that."
Q: #AskTyler whats up with your home gym set up - @hischiered
Bertuzzi: "Yeah, my home gym, something I just put together just to kind of get back into things. I don't have any barbells or anything around the house here and I just thought I'd so something funny and kind of cool. I know I thought it worked out pretty well and just kind of keeps me in shape and keeps me moving."
Q: Favorite video game to play during quarantine? #AskTyler - @JacobIngham4LA
Bertuzzi: "My favorite video game is probably Fortnite, between that and NHL20. We play a lot of NHL20 on the plane rides and it's something that we look forward to every road trip."
Q: #AskTyler how often are you able to go fishing? And which fish do you love to fish for the most?? - @62MackCF95
Bertuzzi: "I usually go fishing almost every night, just out in my bay in my fishing kayak. Just trying to get out there and enjoy when it's nice weather. Usually I just catch bass, maybe sometimes pike but that's it."
Bertuzzi: Aspen's doing well. She's enjoying being back home, being able to swim in the lake, being outdoors. She's loving it out here."
Q: #AskTyler What did it feel like to put on the Winged Wheel jersey for the first time? - @NotoriousETP
Bertuzzi: "To put on a Wings jersey was something I'll never forget. Obviously you dream about playing in the NHL one day and I'm lucky enough to be able to do it for a great organization that's an Original Six team and has so much history behind it. I cherish that every day."
Bertuzzi: "My favorite ice cream flavor, it's usually a combo with mint chocolate chip and cookie dough or something like that but it has to always be a combo, it's not just one."
Q: #AskTyler why don't you tape your stick? - @Fopakjak
Bertuzzi: "I would say I don't tape my stick, it's more of I have a sticker that kind of feels like sandpaper, it's pretty easy to put on. I'm kind of lazy taping sticks so when I found out that I could put this on my stick, I was all in."
Q: #AskTyler What's the most memorable game you've played in? - @panarinbreadco
Bertuzzi: "The most memorable game for me this year would probably be Montreal at home. We were down, I forget what it was, maybe 3-1 or 3-0, and we came back in the third and won, 4-3. We season swept them and it was the first time in a lot of years we did that. It was a good feeling."
Bertuzzi: "Thanks for the questions, guys. It was fun answering them. Stay safe and hopefully we see you guys soon."
