Rasmussen, 21, has skated in 10 games with the Red Wings this season, posting three points (0-3-3) in 12:37 average time on ice. Prior to his recall to Detroit on March 2, Rasmussen recorded points in six of his first seven games with Grand Rapids this season, tallying six points (2-4-6). He remains among Griffins' leaders with six points (5th), four assists (T4th), two power-play goals (T2nd) and 16 shots (5th). To start the 2020-21 campaign, the 6-foot-6, 229-pound forward suited up in 18 games for Graz EC of the Austrian Eishockey Liga, recording five goals and 13 assists and 42 penalty minutes. The third-year pro spent the 2019-20 season with the Griffins and posted among team leaders with 22 points (9th) and 15 assists (7th), despite being limited to 35 games due to injury. The Surrey, British Columbia, native played the majority of his rookie professional season (2018-19) with Detroit and tallied 18 points (8-10-18) in 62 games. In all, Rasmussen has totaled 21 points (8-13-21) in 72 games with the Red Wings and 30 points (11-19-30) in 45 games with the Griffins.
Originally drafted by the Red Wings in the first round (ninth overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Rasmussen spent three seasons with the Western Hockey League's Tri-City Americans from 2014-18 and recorded 157 points (81-76-157) in 161 games. As captain of Tri-City in 2017-18, he picked up 59 points (31-28-59) over an injury-shortened 47 regular-season game slate before racking up a team-best 33 points (16-17-33) in just 14 playoff games to help Tri-City to back-to-back series sweeps against higher-seeded teams in the 2018 WHL Playoffs.
Lindstrom, 22, returns to Grand Rapids after skating in five games with the Griffins this season, recording four penalty minutes and four shots on goal. The blueliner began the 2021-21 campaign with Almtuna IS of the second-tier Swedish Allsvenskan, suiting up in 20 games with Almtuna and recording 11 assists and 20 penalty minutes before returning to North America for his second professional season. Lindstrom appeared in 16 NHL games in 2019-20, tallying one assist, nine shots on goal, 19 hits and 15 blocked shots in 16:32 average time on ice. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound defenseman also skated in 45 games with the Griffins in his first season in North America, notching five points (0-5-5) and 26 penalty minutes. In 2018-19, Lindstrom won a Swedish Hockey League championship with Frolunda HC, notching six points (3-3-6) and 50 penalty minutes in 40 regular-season games and skating in six postseason games. Frolunda also captured a championship in the Champions League tournament, in which Lindstrom ranked second among the team's defensemen with six points (2-4-6) in 11 games.
Originally drafted by the Red Wings in the second round (38th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Lindstrom has played in 213 professional games between the NHL, AHL, SHL and second-tier Swedish Allsvenskan. In 87 games with Almtuna IS between 2016-18, he totaled 23 points (8-15-23) and 60 penalty minutes. The Ostervala, Sweden, native also picked up a silver medal at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship, notching one assist and eight penalty minutes in seven games. Prior to turning professional, Lindstrom played for Almtuna's junior teams, totaling 20 points (9-11-20) and 16 penalty minutes at the under-20 level and 51 points (20-31-51) and 68 penalty minutes in 59 games in the under-18 ranks.
