Wings-Kraken

Detroit couldn't hold a two-goal lead after two periods, and eventually fell, 4-2, to the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday night.
After a scoreless first period, Joe Veleno and Taro Hirose both scored in the second frame to put Detroit ahead 2-0. Seattle then scored four unanswered goals in the final 20 minutes to complete the comeback.

With an assist on Hirose's tally, Tyler Bertuzzi recorded his 49th point of the season to mark a new career high. His previous best was 48 points (21 goals, 27 assists), which he set in 71 games during the 2019-20 season.
With the loss, Detroit took just two of the possible eight points on their four-game road trip and fell to 25-30-7 overall.
