DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings are teaming up with youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan Fashion & Merchandising Industry Club to kick off February's celebration of Black History Month. Club members' designs commemorating Black History and hockey will be featured throughout February, including during games at Little Caesars Arena and on the team's digital platforms.
Several members of the BGCSM Fashion & Merchandising Industry Club submitted designs to be featured throughout February that illustrate the history of Black players in the Red Wings organization, in addition to social justice messages, the African-American Flag and Black History in the city of Detroit.
