Sens Skills, presented by Sport Chek in association with TSN 1200, will see the Senators split into two squads to compete head-to-head in various skill events including the puck control relay, fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting, skills challenge and the 3-on-3 competition. A team led by Senators alternate captains Mark Stone and Zack Smith will take on a team led by the Senators' other two alternates, Matt Duchene and Mark Borowiecki, with minor hockey players from the National Capital Region participating alongside their NHL heroes.
On behalf of Sport Chek, the Senators will donate proceeds from this year's event to support educational initiatives in the region, the Ottawa Senators Foundation and the NHLPA Goals and Dreams Fund.
Tickets for Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek are $20 (200 Level) and $25 (100 Level). For group ticket information (groups of nine or more), please call 613-599-0210 or e-mail [email protected]. All prices include taxes, CRF and convenience fees. A handling charge will apply.
Tickets to this year's Sens Skills event are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting www.Ticketmaster.ca, www.canadiantirecentre.com, by phone at 1-877-788-FANS (3267), in person at The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall, Place d'Orléans and in the ByWard Market or at the Canadian Tire Centre box office. The Canadian Tire Centre box office does not sell tickets in-person on the first day of sales, Ottawa Senators hockey excluded.
Over the past nine years, almost 140,000 fans have attended Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek with the Senators and the NHLPA donating more than $750,000 to local charities on behalf of their partners.
