Though there weren't many picks the Senators made the most of them. To say there was a theme in their picks almost seems like an understatement as the are all big bodies, with an average height of 6'3", and a clear emphasis on the back end with three defencemen and a goaltender. Aditionally, three of their draft picks will continue to grow physically while they grow their games in the college ranks.

With players like Daniel Alfredsson, Chris Neil, Drake Batherson, Mark Borowiecki and more, all cracking the Senators line up as fourth round or later draft picks don't be surprised to see these players skating at Canadian Tire Centre in a few years' time.
