OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today the schedule and list of 27 players attending the team's annual development camp which will take place from Monday, July 11, to Thursday, July 14, at Canadian Tire Centre and the Bell Sensplex. The club has invited four goaltenders, eight defencemen and 15 forwards. Each of the camp's on-ice sessions will be open to the public. For a copy of the Development Camp roster, please click here.

Eight of the club's nine selections from the 2022 NHL Draft, held this past weekend in Montreal, will attend this year's camp. Local fans will get their first chance to welcome Oskar Pettersson, a forward from Rogle BK in the Swedish Junior League and defenceman Tomas Hamara of Tappara (Liiga), who the Senators selected with their two third-round selections at last weekend's draft (72nd and 87th overall respectively). Fourth-round selection forward Stephen Halliday (Dubuque, USHL), fifth-round picks defenceman Jorian Donovan (Hamilton, OHL), forward Cameron O'Neill (Mount St. Charles, USHS) and goaltender Kevin Reidler (AIK, Swe-Jr.), sixth-round choice defenceman Theo Wallberg (Skelleftea, Swe-Jr.) and seventh-round selection forward Tyson Dyck (Cranbrook, BCHL) will also make their first appearance in Senators' colours.
It will also mark the first camp appearance for 2021 first-round pick forward Tyler Boucher (Ottawa, OHL) and 2020 first-round selection, defenceman Jake Sanderson (North Dakota, NCHC).
The camp will begin on Monday at 9 a.m. with medicals and fitness testing taking place at Canadian Tire Centre. Senators' prospects will take to the ice at Bell Sensplex on each of the camp's four days in the Senators' first development camp since 2019. The camp will focus on both off-ice and on-ice training and is being led by the Senators' player development coach Shean Donovan in conjunction with members of the Senators coaching staff including head coach D.J. Smith, goaltending coach Zac Bierk, conditioning coach Rob Mouland and University of Guelph head coach Shawn Camp.
The camp's 3-on-3 tournament returns to the Bell Sensplex on Thursday, July 14, at 10 a.m. The tournament will give fans the chance to see the future of the hockey club up-close in a competitive environment. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.
