Ottawa take on Utah, everything you need to know about tonights matchup.

The Senators come into tonight’s game riding the momentum of their 5-4 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. A trio of Senators had multi-point nights: Drake Batherson had three points (two goals, one assist), while Claude Giroux and Jake Sanderson both had two (two assists each).

Coming into tonight’s game, the Senators hold the second-best powerplay percentage in the league at 38.1%. Utah currently has a top ten penalty kill, which should be a good test for the Senators.

Utah has kicked off their inaugural season with a hot start, posting a 4-1-1 record in their first six games. Both Ottawa and Utah will be looking to make it two wins in a row tonight, as Utah comes into tonight’s game following a 2-1 overtime win over the Boston Bruins on Saturday.

Both teams come into tonight with momentum from their previous wins, as well as strong special teams play. This combination will make for a close but exciting game for Sens fans to watch.
