Senators Sports & Entertainment has been and will continue working with officials from the province of Ontario and Ottawa Public Health in the lead up to opening night on Thursday, Oct. 14 when the team hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs. As per guidelines recently released by the province, only fully vaccinated individuals (completed at minimum 14 days prior) will be permitted Canadian Tire Centre entry. While this provincial requirement will not officially be in place until Wednesday, Sept. 22, the venue will require proof of vaccination, photo identification and mandatory mask wearing from Sept. 18 onwards.
It is the organization's expectation, based upon its full compliance with provincial requirements, that Canadian Tire Centre will have the ability to welcome full capacity for opening night on Oct. 14. In anticipation of this possibility, the Senators will launch a 2021-22 season on-sale campaign next week. A pre-sale will begin on Monday for season seat members and will extend to Sens Insiders on Tuesday. Single game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. via senators.com/tickets or by visiting Ticketmaster.ca.
Senators Sports and Entertainment will effort to provide public updates regarding venue capacity, entry requirements and process changes in addition to denoting facility enhancements in the lead up to the regular season. With gratitude, the organization is excited to welcome its great fans, partners and sponsors back to Canadian Tire Centre later this month.
