Jaros, 21, recently completed his third season of professional hockey with Lulea HF of the Swedish Hockey Legue and established new professional career highs with five goals, eight assists and 13 points while leading Lulea defenceman with a plus/minus rating of plus-eight. Over parts of three seasons with Lulea HF, Jaros has registered 19 points (five goals,14 assists) in 86 games. Additionally, he has also registered six points (two goals, four assists) in 28 games over parts of two seasons with Asploven HC of the Swedish second division.
A native of Kosice, Slovakia, Jaros has represented his country on several occasions including the 2016 IIHF World Hockey Championship and the IIHF World Junior Championships twice where he won a bronze medal at the 2015 event and captained the team to a quarter-final appearance at the 2016 tournament in Helsinki.
Jaros was the Senators fifth-round selection (139th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft in Sunrise, Fla.
