McCormick, 25, appeared in 66 games for the B-Sens last season, setting new career highs in goals (21) and points (36). His 21 goals were tied for the team lead and 105 penalty minutes were a team best. A native of De Pere, Wis., he also appeared in seven games with Ottawa.
Drafted by the Senators with their second sixth-round pick (171st overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft, McCormick spent three seasons with the Big Ten Conference's Ohio State Buckeyes prior to turning professional. In three years with Binghamton, he has scored 46 goals and 40 assists while recording 381 penalty minutes in 185 games. He has added two goals and two assists in 27 career NHL games with the Senators.
