Tkachuk will replace fellow Senators forward Drake Batherson, who was injured Tuesday night against Buffalo, on the Atlantic Division roster.
This will be Tkachuk's second All-Star game (2020).
Tkachuk is second in team scoring this season with 27 points while his 12 goals rank third on the team.
His 115 shots leads the Senators as do his 118 hits and 66 penalty minutes. The 22-year-old has also won 58.7 per cent of his faceoffs this season.
The 2022 NHL All Star game takes place Feb. 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas.
