Pierre Dorion

Pierre Dorion begins his 13th season with the Senators in 2019-20 and his fourth as the team's general manager after becoming the team's seventh in franchise history on April 10, 2016. Following the 2016-17 campaign, his first as general manager, he was named a finalist for the National Hockey League's General Manager of the Year Award.

An Ottawa native, Dorion spent the previous two-plus seasons as one of two assistant general managers with the Senators after being promoted to the role on Jan. 13, 2014. Prior to his being named assistant general manager, he spent four-plus seasons as the team's director of player personnel. He also served two seasons as the Senators' chief amateur scout after originally being hired by the club in July, 2007. 

In addition to his primary function of leading the day-to-day hockey operations' component of the club, Dorion is also responsible for overseeing the Senators scouting staff, both professional and amateur, while managing all facets of evaluation for players both inside and outside of the organization, across all levels of hockey. He also remains responsible for contract negotiation for NHL and AHL restricted and unrestricted free agents.

The 2019-20 season will serve as Dorion's 26th consecutive in the NHL after also spending two seasons as an amateur scout for the New York Rangers and 11 seasons as an amateur scouting coordinator and as chief scout with the Montreal Canadiens following his hiring by the club in 1994.

Pierre lives in Orleans and has two children, a daughter, Vanessa and a son, Antoine.

Tim Pattyson

Director of Hockey Operations
Born April 15, 1979 (Thunder Bay, Ont.)

Tim Pattyson begins his 19th season with the Senators in 2019-20 and his first as director of hockey operations following his promotion to the role on July 1. He spent the 2018-19 campaign as manager of hockey operations and the previous two seasons as hockey data analyst after spending 11 seasons as the Senators' video coach. He began his tenure with the club as a member of its communications department in 2001.

In his present role, Pattyson is involved in all facets of the hockey operations department including contract research, CBA and cap compliance, expansion planning, budgeting and personnel. He works in conjunction with the team's professional scouts on NHL/AHL list development and is an aid to the the club's amateur scouts with analytics and draft planning. He also serves as a player development resource and is involved in the planning and execution of various initiatives.

A graduate of Ottawa's Carleton University, Pattyson has an honours degree in journalism.

He and his wife, Kim, live in Kanata with their son, Henry and daughter, Mackenzie.

Allison Vaughan

Manager of Hockey Administration
Born April 3, 1966 (Almonte, Ont.)

Allison Vaughan enters her 28th season with the Senators in 2019-20. She began her career as part of the Terrace group that brought the Senators back to Ottawa in the early 1990's. Vaughan has worked in the hockey department and for the general manager for the duration of her tenure with the Senators and currently oversees the day-to-day logistics and administration of the office, contracts and scouting staff.

Allison and her husband, Danny, reside in Almonte, Ont., with their two sons, Richard and Joseph.
