This April the Sharks Foundation celebrated Environmental Awareness Month presented by
PG&E
by supporting non-profit organizations dedicated to improving and preserving the planet.
The Foundation kicked off the campaign on April 5 with a Reclaimed & Recycled Items Auction which resulted in a $2,000 donation to Bay Area Wilderness Training to support their Oakland Gear Library, making wilderness gear more accessible to underserved youth. The auction included unique pieces such as an ice cream scooper created from a used hockey stick and a wooden Mystery Puck display case.
