Gregor, 24, primarily played for the Sharks, appearing in 63 games and recording 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists) with 156 shots. He set career highs in goals, assists, points, games played, shots, and power-play points (3). On April 28, he scored twice in the opening 3:08 of the game to record the fastest two goals by one player to start a game in franchise history. He registered his first career game-winning goal on Mar. 20 vs. Arizona and appeared in his 100th career game on Mar. 17 at Los Angeles. He also played eight games for the San Jose Barracuda in the American Hockey League, scoring 12 points (four goals, eight assists).
Over the course of his NHL career, he has appeared in 121 games scoring 34 points (16 goals, 18 assists) and 39 penalty minutes. He has also skated in 43 career AHL games, registering 40 points (14 goals, 26 assists).
Prior to his professional career, Gregor skated in 257 career Western Hockey League (WHL) games with the Moose Jaw Warriors, Victoria Royals, and Prince Albert Raiders. He helped lead Prince Albert to a WHL Championship in 2018-19, scoring 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists) in 23 contests. He finished second in postseason goals, was tied for third in points, ranked fifth in assists and was named the WHL Player of the Game in the Final after posting three points (two goals, one assist) in Game 7. During the 2015-16 season, he was named to the CHL Top Prospects Game and led all WHL rookies in the regular season in assists (45).
Internationally, Gregor skated with Team Canada at the 2022 World Championships where he helped win a silver medal. He appeared in seven games, scoring three points (two goals, one assist). He also appeared at the 2016 U-18 World Junior Championship where he posted two assists in five games.
The six-foot, 190-pound native of Beaumont, Alberta, was selected by San Jose in the 2016 NHL Draft (fourth round, 111th overall).
