Three Sharks Prospects Named To World Junior Championship Team

SAN JOSE - Three San Jose Sharks (

Norris, the Sharks first round selection (19th overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft, is currently playing with the University of Michigan and has posted nine points (four goals, five assists) in 16 games.

Blichfeld (7th round, 210th overall in 2016) is currently with Portland (WHL), where he is fifth on the team in scoring with 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) in 26 games.

Korenar (signed as a free agent in 2017) is playing with HC Benatky in the Czech2 League, posting a .911 save percentage in 20 games.
Another Sharks prospect, Mario Ferraro (2nd round, 49th overall in 2017) was named to Canada's preliminary roster prior to the tournament.
