Our first Next Wave Report of the 2022-23 season is here. In this edition of Next Wave learn more about what our prospects have been up to and how they've been making strides in recent weeks.
Let's take a dive into this week's update of our Next Wave report, presented by Kaiser Permanente.

Filip at the front
Filip Bystedt continues to clip at about a half-a-point-per-game pace on Linkoping's third line. The center is third among U20 players in SHL scoring, and T-1st in goals. Bystedt is eligible for Sweden for the 2023 World Juniors.
Terrific Tristen
Tristen Robins recorded a three-game point streak from Nov. 20 to 25, including a two-assist and seven-shot effort at Tucson on Nov. 20. Robins has rifled off 53 shots this season, which leads all league rookies. Robins' four power play markers are T-2nd among AHL rookies.
Danil does it best
Like other Barracuda rookies, Danil Gushchin has started to light the lamp in the last few weeks, with three goals and six points in his last seven contests. The winger set a career high with three points (one goal, two assists) against Iowa on Nov. 30. He was named the first star of the game. Gushchin's opening goal on Nov. 20 was enough to stand as the game-winner after the AHL squad posted a 6-0 shutout.
