William's World
William Eklund has been a consistent producer for the Barracuda this season, with at least one point in 13 of his last 15 games. On Feb. 20, he posted a career-high four points (two goals, two assists) in a 7-2 Barracuda rout against Abbotsford. He is now tied for the AHL rookie lead in points and he is one of four rookies to lead their team in offensive production.
Danil Does It Best
Danil Gushchin's offensive talent has been on display in recent weeks, with the forward scoring a pair of goals on Feb. 15 against Ontario, including a game-winner in overtime where he had the puck on his stick almost the entire shift. Gushchin has points in five of his last six games and is now fourth on the Cuda in goal scoring.

Mann On A Mission
Strauss Mann has rattled off three consecutive wins for the Barracuda in the span of six days. He saved a combined 73 of 78 shots (.935 sv%) in a two-game set at Abbotsford on Feb. 18 and 20. The netminder was named the second star of the game on Feb. 20 after stopping 37 of 39 shots.
Prospect notables:
• Tristen Robins is currently on a two-game multi-point streak after a strong showing in Abbotsford. The rookie has seven points (two goals, five assists) in his last five games.
• Timur Ibragimov has points in each of his last three games (one goal, three assists). He ranks fifth on the team in scoring.
• Alex Young has continued his offensive tear and is now on a 16-game point streak. He has not been held off the scoresheet since Nov. 26 at Niagara. Young leads Colgate in goals and points. The center is tied-13th in the nation in goal scoring and is sporting a 52.6 faceoff percentage.
• Cam Lund picked up a pair of points (one goal, one assist) on Feb. 18 at Vermont in a 3-0 win for Northeastern. Earlier that week, Lund helped Northeastern win the 2023 Beanpot in a 3-2 shootout win (officially ruled a 2-2 tie) against Harvard.
• Ethan Cardwell recorded back-to-back multiple point games (five points in all) on Feb. 15 and 17. Cardwell logged the primary assist on the game-winner as part of a three-point effort on Feb. 17 to earn second star of the game honors.
• Jake Furlong is riding a five-game point streak and has earned a +6 rating in eight games this month. Furlong is 10th in the QMJHL in plus-minus.
• Filip Bystedt registered the longest point streak of his career by marking the scoresheet in four straight games from Jan. 31 through Feb. 14. He recorded two points (1g, 1a) on Feb. 21.
