1st Star: LW Fredrik Olofsson, Nebraska-Omaha, NCAA
The Line: 2 GP, 2G, 1A
The sophomore winger did his part in leading Nebraska-Omaha over Union in two tilts. The 2014 fourth-round draft pick started off with a goal and assist in the first matchup to tally his fourth multi-point performance of the season. He followed that up with a goal in the next game against Union to push his point streak to four games. Olofsson now has 15 points (4G, 11A) through 18 games.
2nd Star: C Matt Highmore, Rockford, (AHL)
The Line: 5 GP, 3G, 1A
The IceHogs leading goal scorer tallied his second hat trick of the season against the Iowa Wild. The center's points came off five attempts on net and also included the game winning goal for Rockford. The center is one point off the team pace for points on the season (22) and his 14 goals are three ahead of the closest teammate.
3rd Star: D Lucas Carlsson, Brynas (SHL)
The Line: 5 GP, 1G, 4A
The defenseman has accounted for points in three of his past five games, including two multi-point performances. The 2016 fourth-round pick helped lead his team to victory with two assists against Färjestad, and added a goal and an assist to beat Karlskrona two nights later. He now has 12 points (5G, 7A) through 29 games.
