The dates for the 2020 NHL Draft have been set.
The first round will take place Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. CT on NBC Sports Network. Rounds 2-7 will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7 beginning at 10:30 a.m. CT on NHL Network.

The 2020 NHL Draft was originally scheduled to be held in Montreal but will now be held virtually.
Barring a trade, the St. Louis Blues will not have a pick in the Top 15 in 2020. The New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and Ottawa Senators will have the Top 3 picks, respectively.
The full order of selection will be determined after the completion of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
In addition, the NHL announced Friday that free agency would begin at 11 a.m. CT on Friday, Oct. 9. Free agency usually begins on July 1 but was pushed back due to the pause of the 2019-20 season.
