O'Reilly's day with the Cup

Three towns, two parades, hundreds of fan photos, and one incredible day for Ryan O'Reilly and the Stanley Cup.
The Blues forward brought the Cup home to Ontario on Thursday and all of Huron County joined in the celebration. Here's a timeline of how the MVP spent his special day.

Seaforth - 8 a.m.

O'Reilly, his family, and plenty of fans all arrived to the Seaforth Fire Hall bright and early to get things started. This part of the day was highlighted by an emotional moment with Granny O'Reilly.

The Cup arrived at approximately 9 a.m. and the first parade of the day began shortly after. O'Reilly was on the marquee firetruck along with his wife, Dayna; son, Jameson; Granny O'Reilly; and the Cup. The parade route down Main St. led straight to Seaforth Arena, the rink where he grew up playing. Two hours and a few hundred photos later, the party moved to the next town over.

Goderich - noon

Huron County loves O'Reilly so much that one parade just wasn't enough! A second parade ran through the town of Goderich, followed by another photo session, this time at the local YMCA. Gifts that were bestowed upon O'Reilly included a stuffed bear with a #90 jersey, a knit hat, and a Blues-themed birdhouse.

Bayfield - 4 p.m.

Following the public appearances, a private party for friends and family was hosted at the home of O'Reilly's parents, Brian and Bonnie. And if he wanted to make a grand entrance with the Cup, he definitely achieved it. Ryan, Dayna, Brian and the Cup arrived at the family's home shortly after 4 p.m...by helicopter.
