MONTREAL - Welcome to the second and final day of the 2021 NHL Draft.

Here's everything you need to know about the new Canadiens prospects.
Round 1
The Canadiens selected defenseman Logan Mailloux with the 31st overall pick on Friday night.
The 18-year-old Belle River, ON native played with SK Lejon (HockeyEttan) in Sweden this past season, registering 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists) in 19 games.
He was also a second-round pick of the OHL's London Knights in 2019.
The Canadiens released a statement shortly after adding Mailloux to the fold.

General manager Marc Bergevin spoke with reporters via Zoom to discuss the pick as well.

For his part, Mailloux met the media before the Draft resumed on Saturday.

Round 2
With their first pick in the second round (63rd overall), the Canadiens selected forward Riley Kidney from the QMJHL's Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

The 18-year-old center registered 38 points (13 goals, 25 assists) in 33 regular season games in 2020-21 with the Titan.
The Enfield, NS native led Acadie-Bathurst with 17 points (2 goals, 15 assists) in just nine postseason appearances.
Kidney was a first-round selection (11th overall) of the Titan in the 2019 QMJHL Draft.

With their second pick in the second round (64th overall), the Canadiens selected forward Oliver Kapanen from Kalpa in Finland.

The 17-year-old center amassed 41 points (25 goals, 16 assists) in 37 games with Kalpa in the U20 SM-Sarja program in 2020-21.
Kapanen, who is the cousin of Pittsburgh Penguins forward Kasperi Kapanen, played four games with Finland at the Under-18 World Championship. He was held without a point.

Round 3
The Canadiens elected to trade the 76th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a third-round selection in 2022.
WIth their third-round pick (87th overall), the Canadiens selected defenseman Dmitri Kostenko, who played in Togliatti in Russia's second division.

The 18-year-old blueliner collected nine points (1 goal, 8 assists) in 10 games with Ladia Togliatti in 2021-22.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pounder also played 40 games in the VHL with Togliatti, registering 10 points (1 goal, 9 assists).
Round 4
With their first pick in the fourth round (113th overall), the Canadiens selected defenseman William Trudeau from the QMJHL's Charlottetown Islanders.

The Varennes, QC native registered 31 points (8 goals, 23 assists) in 40 games during the 2020-21 campaign.
The 18-year-old blueliner also ranked third in the League with a plus-34 differential in the regular season.
Trudeau was invited to attend Canada's National Junior Team summer development camp ahead of the U20 World Junior Championship.

The Canadiens traded the 126th overall selection in the 2021 NHL Draft to the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2022.
Bergevin then traded the 127th overall selection in the 2021 NHL Draft to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for the 150th and 214th overall selections this year.
Round 5
With their first pick in the fifth round (142nd overall), the Canadiens selected defenseman Daniil Sobolev.

The 18-year-old Russian registered six points (2 goals, 4 assists) in 48 games with MHK Sparktak Moskva in the MHL in 2019-20.
The Saint Petersburg native was supposed to play with the OHL's Windsor Spitfires this past season.

With their second pick in the fifth round (150th overall), the Canadiens selected forward Joshua Roy from the QMJHL's Sherbrooke Phoenix.

The 17-year-old right-winger amassed 17 points (9 goals, 8 assists) in 20 games with the Saint John Sea Dogs before being acquired by Sherbrooke.
In 20 games with the Phoenix, the Saint-Georges-de-Beauce, QC native added 18 points (13 goals, 5 assists).
Roy was the first overall selection in the 2019 QMJHL Draft by the Sea Dogs.

Round 6
With their sixth-round pick (191st overall), the Canadiens selected forward Xavier Simoneau from the QMJHL's Drummondville Voltigeurs.

In 27 games with Drummondville this past season, the 20-year-old center recorded 37 points (10 goals, 27 assists).
Simoneau was the Voltigeurs' captain for the last two years.
In 204 career QMJHL games, the Gatineau native has 228 points (73 goals, 155 assists).
Round 7
With their seventh-round pick (214th overall), the Canadiens selected goaltender Joe Vrbetic from the OHL's North Bay Battalion.

In 42 games with North Bay in 2019-20, the 18-year-old netminder compiled a 14-25-1 record, along with a 4.23 goals-against average and a .881 save percentage.
The Dunvegan, ON native is 6-foot-6 and weighs 190 pounds.
The Canadiens then traded the 223rd overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft to Arizona for St. Louis' seventh-round pick in 2022 (previously acquired).
