That's exactly what happened after Tuesday's practice at the Bell Sports Complex when Canadiens forward Nicolas Deslauriers met up with special needs students from the Huntingdon Adult Education and Community Centre.
It was a surprise that was set up by his sister, Jesika, who works at the facility.
"My sister talked to me about it, and I told her to keep everyone there for a little bit after practice and I would come see them," explained Deslauriers. "It's always fun to make your little sister happy and put a smile on their faces, too. Sometimes, it doesn't take much to make people smile."
Jesika's students proudly sported their favorite hockey jerseys, and she believes her pupils wholeheartedly appreciated the meet-and-greet.
"I organized it to make my students happy. They're all Canadiens fans," mentioned Jesika. "I'm sure it made their day."
