The Order of Canada was established in 1967 to recognize outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation. It is one of Canada's highest civilian honors.
Geoff and Andrew are following in their father's footsteps. Eric Molson was invested to the Order of Canada in 2007.
The owner, president and CEO of the Canadiens, Bell Centre and evenko, Geoff was recognized for his "entrepreneurial leadership and for his philanthropic contributions, notably through the family's foundation and other local organizations."
Geoff is well known for his benevolence and generosity, especially now during these challenging times.
He is a board member of the Molson Foundation, the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation and the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, all of which support philanthropic initiatives in Quebec and across Canada.
Geoff is also a member of the Plus Mieux Guérir (CHU Sainte-Justine) committee and recently completed his mandate with Campus Montreal (HEC, Polytechnique, Université de Montréal), where he served as co-president.
He is a board member and ambassador of the Molson Coors Brewing Company as well.
