Scratchy Tuesday - Rules and Regulations

GIVEAWAY RULES:*

  • 5000 Scratch to win game cards (“Game Cards”) will be distributed at every Calgary Flames Tuesday night home game over the 2023-24 season from October 24, 2023 through to the final date that the giveaway will operate on April 2, 2024 (the “Giveaway”). Distribution will be random and is subject to the Calgary Flames discretion as to distribution areas.

  • No purchase necessary to receive a Game Card. Each Calgary Flames spectator within the 5000 available Game Cards distributed is only entitled to receive one Game Card per entry.

  • The Giveaway is open to any Calgary Flame spectator attending a home game at the Scotiabank Saddledome who is a ticketed spectator and not otherwise excluded from winning.

  • Every Game Card is a winner. Prizes will include Calgary Flames merchandise, jerseys, tickets to future hockey events, experiences, food items, etc. The exact prizing to be awarded each Tuesday will be described with the item’s approximate retail value and the chance of winning that item amongst all the items to be given away by, as well as any terms and conditions attached to claiming a particular prize: Prize list

  • EXCLUSIONS/TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WINNING: In order to be eligible to win a prize:

  • you must not be (nor any member of your immediate family can be) an employee of CSEC/Calgary Flames or any of its affiliates, nor or any suppliers or sponsors of materials or services related to the Giveaway (including retailers, and advertising, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies). For the purposes of these Rules, "immediate family" means husband, wife, spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether by blood, marriage or adoption and whether or not they reside in the same household.

  • See the link to the full prize list for each Tuesday night home game for additional terms and conditions attached to certain prizes.

  • Certain prizes may require the winner to be the age of majority, or to have parental/guardian consent.

  • To claim a grand prize, or other prizes involving tickets or experiences, a potential winner must be a Canadian resident, excluding the Province of Quebec, or otherwise available to attend the awarded prize, and must be willing to sign a Declaration/Release form in order to be awarded the prize.

  • CSEC/Calgary Flames shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Giveaway. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification.

  • All personal and other information requested by and supplied to CSEC/Calgary Flames for the purpose of the Giveaway must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. CSEC/Calgary Flames reserve the right to disqualify any entry or entrant in its sole discretion, should any entry or entrant at any stage contain and/or supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information or otherwise engage in conduct, in the Calgary Flames sole discretion, thought to be contrary to the spirit and intent of the Calgary Flames Giveaway.

  • All prizes in the Giveaway must be claimed on the evening the Game Card was provided unless otherwise noted in the prize link. Game Cards awarding tickets to hockey events must be used for the date and time issued and are not refundable, non-exchangeable and are not eligible for exchange for cash value or other award.

  • Accepting a prize is the winner’s acknowledgement of acceptance of the Giveaway Rules. It is the prize winner’s responsibility to claim the prize revealed on their Game Card as indicated in the prize link or as directed by Calgary Flames personnel. Any personal information collected by CSEC/Calgary Flames in order to fulfil prizes will not be used for any purpose other than awarding the prize, unless otherwise indicated at the time the prize is awarded.

  • Prizes available will decrease as they are revealed and claimed each evening that the Giveaway operates. Prizes may not be exactly as shown or described. The Calgary Flames reserve the right to change, replace or modify any prize as awarded or as yet to be awarded; to change the dates Game Cards are distributed, to commence the giveaway at a later time or end the giveaway sooner or to make any other changes to the rules of the giveaway as they may deem necessary or desirable in their sole discretion.

  • By participating in this Giveaway and attempting to redeem or claim a prize, entrants agree to abide by these Rules. The decisions of the Calgary Flames with respect to all aspects of the Giveaway are final.

  • The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube or any other social media platform used to promote the Scratchy Tuesday Giveaway. All social media channels used to promote the Scratchy Tuesday Giveaway are completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Giveaway. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Giveaway must be directed to the Calgary Flames/CSEC and not any social media platform used by the Calgary Flames in the Giveaway’s promotion.

  • Scratchy Tuesday – On the Road Version: Is only available for select Calgary Flames away games, for a select timeframe on that game day and is open to anyone online via the promoted gaming link. No purchase necessary. There is a limit of 3 entries per device. Every digital scratch card is a winner. Prizes include game tickets and merchandise discounts which must be redeemed within 24 hours at the close of contest. Instructions for redemption will be provided with each winning prize. All exclusions/terms of conditions for winning are the same for the “On the Road” version as the regular version of Scratchy Tuesday. Full list of prizing can be found here
