2019-20 NHL SEASON UPDATE - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For season ticket members and game day buyers:

We are grateful for your understanding and patience. We understand that fans are concerned and want answers. Much of what we are facing is uncharted territory for all of us. We will communicate regularly with our fans to keep them informed as details are available.

The NHL has cancelled the remaining unplayed regular season games in the 2019-20 season. The remaining 8 Calgary Flames home games that were scheduled to be played at the Scotiabank Saddledome will not be played. The NHL has announced a Return to Play Plan with 24 teams in competition for the Stanley Cup, including the Calgary Flames.

Season Ticket Refunds

For Season Ticket Members, refunds for the remaining 8 games of the 2019-20 season can be requested by contacting your Account Manager by email. Ticket Members can also choose to have the money applied as a credit for the 2020-21 season.

Will the payment deadlines be pushed back for 2020-21 renewals?

We have paused all payments until the announcement of the 2020-21 regular season schedule. We will continue to communicate regularly with our Season Ticket Members, and any changes or important updates regarding payments will be communicated to you via email.

What are my options with my credit from the remaining 8 games of the 2019-20 season?

Season Ticket Members that did not make a selection prior to the June 30th deadline will have their credit applied to the 2020/21 Flames season, and receive a Saddledome food and beverage gift card worth 5% of the value of their credit. Changes can be made by contacting your Account Manager, or by emailing [email protected]

Can I get a refund on my game day tickets?

All game day tickets for the 8 cancelled home games have been automatically refunded. For fans who purchased tickets on Ticketmaster or directly through the Calgary Flames, refunds have been processed back to the same credit card used during purchase. For fans who purchased game day tickets from other channels, you can seek a refund from your point of purchase.

How will resale tickets be handled?

All tickets purchased through a resale site (e.g., Vivid Seats, StubHub, etc.) will be subject to the refund policy of that ticket marketplace. Please contact the customer service departments of the appropriate marketplace for more information.

I sold tickets through My Flames online account and have been paid for them. How will resale tickets be handled (Ticketmaster/NHL Ticket Exchange)?

Any accounts that have sold tickets through My Flames Account or the NHL Ticket Exchange will have their (8 game) credits adjusted accordingly.
