  1. LAST TIME OUT
The Flames started off this four-game homestand with a 4-1 loss to the defending Stanley Cup Champion Avalanche on Wednesday night.
Despite shelling the Colorado net to the tune of 13-3 in the third period, Tyler Toffoli was the lone player to get a puck past Alexandar Georgiev.
Elias Lindholm was blunt in his assessment of his team's performance.
"We've played 46 games now and we're still looking for a really good game," he said.
Things didn't start well for the homeside, with the Avs scoring three goals in the opening frame.
The Flames gathered momentum as the game wore on but weren't able to dig out of the early hole.
"Honestly, when you come out like that in the first against the champs, it's not gonna work very well," Lindholm said. "You can't expect to win when you play like that. So, obviously, that first period set the whole game up."
Meanwhile, the buzz around the 'Dome Friday was around Jakob Pelletier, who may make his NHL debut today. He skated on a line with Walker Duehr and Trevor Lewis in practice.

2. KNOW YOUR ENEMY
The Lightning are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games, but come into this afternoon's tilt fresh on the heels of a 5-3 loss up the QEII to the Oilers Thursday night that snapped a five-game winning streak.
Ryan MacLeod and Leon Draisaitl scored in the first period to stake the homeside to a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.
Brandon Hagel got Tampa on the board 1:30 into the middle stanza, before Zach Hyman restored the two-goal cushion.
Steven Stamkos and Calgary-product Brayden Point tied the game heading into the third period, but Connor McDavid and Hyman would tally in the final frame to salt it away.
Andrei Vasilevskiy made 29 saves in the loss.
"I really liked our second period, but we made a mistake on McDavid's goal on the end, we were just a little tentative in the play and he finds a way," Lightning coach Jon Cooper told NHL.com. "Most guys don't score that, but he finds a way to do those things and that's why he's a special player.
"We lacked a little push down the stretch there, we had the one power play that didn't work out for us. We fought until the end. It was a good game, but it's disappointing we didn't get any points out of this."
### 3. FAST FACTS
