The Flames fell 5-1 to the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night for their seventh straight loss. Pierre-Luc Dubois had a hat-trick for the visitors. Chris Stewart scored the lone goal for the Flames - his first since being picked up off waivers by Calgary - in the final minute of the match. Jon Gillies had 23 saves on 28 shots.
2. THEM
The Oilers lost to the Vancouver Canucks 2-1 Thursday night. McDavid opened the scoring in the first period, then the Canucks tied it later in the second frame when Sam Gagner fired it pastCam Talbot after gathering up a rebound out front. Derrick Pouliotwould score the game-winner for the Canucks. Talbot finished with 28 saves.
3. US vs. THEM
The Flames lost their first three games of the season against the Oilers: On opening night Oct. 4 in Edmonton 3-0, 7-5 on Dec. 2 at the Scotiabank Saddledome, and 4-3 in a shootout on Jan. 25 at Rogers Place. In their most recent clash, Gaudreau scored the game's lonemarker in a 1-0 victory at home March 13.
4. THIS, THAT AND THE OTHER
This: Flames rookie Spencer Foo will make his NHL debut tonight. Foo has 37 points in his first professional season in the AHL. He is ranked second on the Heat in goals (20) and third in points. The Edmonton native was signed by the Flames this past offseason as a college free agent. … That:The Flames have a total of three home games left this season, two coming in a row as they take on the Oilers tonight then the Arizona Coyotes on April 3, before playing their last road game of the campaign against the Winnipeg Jets on April 5. The Flames then return home to close out the season against the Vegas Golden Knights … The Other: This will be the 238th game between the Oilers and Flames.

Flames: Spencer Foo Foo has scored 20 goals and collected 37 points with the AHL's Stockton Heat this season. Oilers:Connor McDavid The Oilers captain leads the league with 103 points and is fourth with 41 goals, trailing Alex Ovechkin(45), Patrik Laine (43) and Evgeni Malkin (42).
