The Flames are looking to get back into the win column after a 3-1 setback to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.
"I think our defence struggled mightly with the puck and in coverage for the whole game," head coach Darryl Sutter said afterwards.
"We had some guys who came for a visit and not to try to win the hockey game. Very disappointing."
The Flames lone goal came from Michael Stone late in the game, making it a 2-1 affair, but the Blue Jackets were able to add an empty-netter to secure the win.
While Calgary's penalty-kill was a bright spot, denying Columbus on seven powerplays, their own work with the man advantage is something they would like to rectify tonight. They were 0-for-5 on the powerplay.

"Good opportunites, missed opportunites," was Sutter's assessment of their powerplay. "Again, their defence blocked shots and took care of business. If you go one D to the other D, ours wasn't even close."
Jacob Markstrom made 24 saves in the effort, looking sharp in his first start since Dec. 1.
"I think he gave us an opportunity to tie the hockey game," Sutter said. "I think that he battled really hard, competed like hell."
The Maple Leafs are coming off a big win over LA on Thursday, downing their Pacific Division visitors 5-0 at Scotiabank Arena.
"I think it's up there, for sure, especially against a team that does a great job really stopping people through the neutral zone, stopping speed, breaking out cleanly," Mitch Marner told NHL.com. "I thought in that second period we really took over the game, played our game, played with speed, pace, got the puck in, and I thought we did a good job of hemming them in and doing good line changes."
Marner, who is one a 21-game point streak, scored the Leafs' fourth goal. Toronto also received contributions from Pierre Engvall, David Kampf, William Nylander, and Auston Matthews.
In net, Ilya Samsonov stopped all 29 shots he faced for his first shutout as a member of the Leafs.
The win extended the Leafs' point streak to 13 games, going 10-0-3 in that stretch.
"I think it was a really, really good game," Matthews told NHL.com. "We obviously did a lot of really good things well, and two straight games not allowing a goal, a lot of credit goes to the way we've been defending and obviously the goaltending we've been getting from both Samsonov and Murray. I think just a full team effort all around. Those are the types of games you want to play and be consistently playing that way."
ZOHORNA'S FLAMES DEBUT: Radim Zohorna made his Flames debut yesterday after being recalled in the morning, centering Milan Lucic and Trevor Lewis. He played 6:35, with 10 shifts in Columbus.
BACK IN HIS OLD STOMPING GROUNDS:Nazem Kadri spent 10 seasons in Toronto, with 161 goals and 196 assists for 357 points in 561 games with the Leafs. Kadri has recorded two goals and six points in the four games he has played against his former club since leaving Toronto.
PUCKS ON NET:The Flames currently average the fifth-most shots on net in the NHL with 34.1. Calgary leads all Western Conference teams in shots per-game average and the Flames are only one of two Western Conference teams in the top 10 in this category.
NO ENGVALL: On Friday, the NHL announced Toronto forward Pierre Engvall had been suspended one game for high-sticking LA's Sean Durzi and will miss Saturday's game vs. the Flames. In 27 games this year, the Swede has four goals and seven points.
Flames - Jonathan Huberdeau
Huberdeau has faced off against the Leafs plenty of times in his career, scoring 28 points through 30 games.
Maple Leafs - Mitch Marner
The winger is on an absolute heater, with a point streak spanning 21 games. On Thursday, he put up one goal in the Leafs' 5-0 win over LA and leads the Maple Leafs with 33 points on the year.
MacKenzie Weegar on Jacob Markstrom's play in Columbus:
"Marky, he was really the only one who kept us in that game. He played unbelievable and I think we let him down (last) night."
