Trailing 3-1 to the expansion Kraken, the Flames came to life in the third period with four goals Tuesday night as they beat Seattle 5-3 to extend their winning streak to five games.
Johnny Gaudreau assisted on Matthew Tkachuk's second goal of the night (he finished with a hat-trick) for his career-best 100th point of the season, later picking up another helper on Tkachuk's empty-netter.
Noah Hanifin\ scored the game-winner after recording four assists in a 4-1 win in Seattle on Saturday.

Jacob Markstrom played the first two periods, with Dan Vladar finishing the final 20 minutes and going a perfect seven-for-seven between the pipes.

Calle Jarnkrok returned to the lineup after missing a handful of games with a non-COVID related illness, centring a line with Milan Lucic and Brett Ritchie. In the process he become the answer to a future trivia question as the first person to have played for and then played against the Kraken.
It seems like an eternity since these two teams last played.
In reality, it was Feb. 9, when the Flames shellacked the Golden Knights 6-0 at the 'Dome.
Matthew Tkachuk and Andrew Mangiapane had a pair of goals, while Johnny Gaudreau, Elias Lindholm and Mikael Backlund also tallied. Jacob Markstrom made 28 saves for this eighth shutout of the season.
"Marky kept us in the game, and really kept us in the game in the second period," Tkachuk said. "We were giving up a lot. Even though it may not looked like it, but 'Marky' made some insane saves there. I think at that point it was a little too much run and gun."
Vegas edged Calgary 3-2 on Dec. 5 at T-Mobile Arena in the first meeting of the season.

The Golden Knights have won three of five outings since the calendar flipped to April as they fight an uphill battle for a playoff berth.
That chase took a blow when they were edged 5-4 by the Canucks in overtime in Vancouver on Tuesday. Quinn Hughes ended the game 51 ticks into extra time.
"There's no quit in this team," coach Peter DeBoer told NHL.com's Kevin Woodley. "There hasn't been all year and it was an important point," "We'll take the point. I think we're going to have to be better than that down the stretch in order to get where we want to go."
The team - which has been hammered with injuries this season - welcomed back star forward Mark Stone, brother of Flames blueliner Michael, who had been out for 26 games with a back injury.
TEAM GAME:The Flames reached the 45-win plateau on Tuesday for just the 10th time in franchise history, the last coming in 2018-19 when the team eventually hit 50 wins on the season. Calgary has allowed the fewest goals against this season at 180, as average of 2.47 goals against/game to their - sixth in the NHL - 3.51 goals for/game.
LINDY LOVE:Elias Lindholm is just four points away from matching a career-high for points in a season (78 in 2018-19) as the 27-year-old sits tied for ninth in the NHL in goals this season with his 38 as of Tuesday. Lindholm sits second in the NHL in plus/minus behind teammate Johnny Gaudreau (+56) at a +53.
NOAH'S ARC: Noah Hanifin's career-year continues as he boosted his career-high point total in a season to 41 (8G, 33A) and extended his point-streak to three games, with the last two being multi-point outings. During this three-game point-streak, Hanifin has a goal and six assists for seven points and sits just six points away from 200 in his career.
Flames - Matthew Tkachuk
Tkachuk scored his second-career hat-trick in the win over the Kraken, his 35th, 36th and 37th goals of the season. The first set a career high mark for tallies in a season by the winger. He has 17 points (9G, 8A) in 11 career games against the Golden Knights. Tkachuk also leads all Flames players in penalty minutes against the Knights with 18 over his career.
Golden Knights - Jack Eichel
The much ballyhooed acquisition extended his point streak to five games with a helper in the loss to the Canucks. He has four goals and six points in that span. In 26 games this season since debuting for the Golden Knights after having neck surgery, the former second-overall pick has 11 goals and 20 points.
Johnny Gaudreau (4th round in 2011) became the first skater taken in the fourth round of an NHL Draft or later to reach the 100-point mark in a season since Daniel Alfredsson (6th round in 1994) in 2005-06.
