"We need a better start. That's going to be big coming up for our next game. Have a good start, get more pucks to the net, get more traffic to the net, and maybe we score a couple early ones."

RASMUS ANDERSSON ON PATH AHEAD:

"It's obviously going to be tough. But as Mangy said, we just have to play one good game. On Thursday, at the start of the game, we just have to come out and play our game. Get on the forecheck, get pucks to the net, get traffic there ... and just try to work them hard down low."

MIKAEL BACKLUND ON FIRST PERIOD:

"I thought we were a little passive and not on our toes. They were on their toes and were coming hard at us. I thought we did a better job in the second and third. We got our cycle game, had some long shifts, and did a better job breaking the puck out."

ON COMPARING THIS SERIES TO 2019 PLAYOFFS:

"I find this year, it's just a closer series. ... This year, I think we've done a better job. It's an even series. It's tight out there. We're right there. We believe, even though we're down today. I find this group, today, has more strength than we did last year. I think we got caught off guard a little bit last year after having a great regular season. ... Things are totally different. It's time for us to come back in a series and win a series when we're down."

MILAN LUCIC ON WHAT'S NEXT:

"We've just to play one good game. Our game is good enough to give us what we want and take us to where we want to go. I know we need to win two games to win the series here, but we can't think like that. We've got to think about playing one really good game, bring our best game that we've had all season long, and that's what all our focus and energy needs to go into."
