Ahead of this summer's 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship, Matthew Coronato has been named to USA Hockey's National Junior Evaluation Camp, running July 24 through Aug. 3 in Plymouth, MI.
The forward, who recently wrapped up his freshman season with Harvard, was on the USA's original World Junior Championship roster before the tournament was postponed due to COVID-19.
The tournament will resume Aug. 9-20 in Edmonton and the American 23-man roster is expected to be announced by Aug. 3.

USA Hockey's camp roster is comprised of players eligible for both this summer's tournament and the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship, which is being held in Halifax, NS and Moncton, NB from Dec. 26, 2022 through Jan. 5, 2023. Coronato is one of 35 forwards skating in the camp.
Coronato, the Flames' first round pick in 2021, played 34 games in his first year at Harvard, scoring 18 goals and 36 points. Prior to his collegiate career, he suited up for the Chicago Steel in the USHL, scoring 48 goals and 85 points in 51 games in 2020-21.
