The Calgary Flames announced today that they have acquired defenceman Nikita Zadorov from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a third-round pick (acquired from Toronto) in the 2022 NHL Draft.
Zadorov, a native of Moscow, Russia, has played 411 career games netting 23 goals and adding 60 assists for 83 points along with 419 penalty minutes with stops in Buffalo, Colorado and Chicago. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound defenceman was originally drafted in the 1st round (16th overall) by Buffalo in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
